My Date is Set

Over the last two days, I'd met with the team lead for the west coast support team, the VP of operations (who's the acting manager of the west coast team for the time being), and HR. These meetings have been very positive and supportive interactions. And so, my RLE/Full Time date is set:

16 September 2011

Actually, after I leave work on the 15th is when it really begins. I'll come home from work and change to go to the queer group at my favorite cafe and I'll be Connie from that point forward. I'll leave work as David on the 15th and return after my vacation on the 27th as Connie.

It's happening! I'm starting!

Having a break before starting back as Connie sounds like a great idea. all round.  It will give everyone a chance to put some distance between themselves and David.
