So I'm pretty sure that someone's asked this question before, but I'm curious. I know that transmen can get pregnant, just look at Thomas Beatie, who's had two children now. Anyway, I'm curious as to how transguys like me can have children. it kinda freaks me out honestly. Now, I happen to be on hormones, and when I started, my doctor told me that my periods would stop because the testosterone essentially destroys the ovaries. If this is true, then how in the world is it possible for a transguy to give birth? Is it simply because we don't really need the ovaries to give birth? Because they create the estrogen and hold the eggs and don't create new eggs? Or is it for some other reason? I can't help but be curious.
...Also...Any good recommendations for birth control, guys?
Getting a little freaked about this, even if I don't plan on spreading my legs anytime soon, couldn't hurt to be prepared, right?
