I am so happy to be able to start Laser Hair Removal on my full face and part of my neck, Next thursday is just a free consultation they are gonna tell me how many sessions I will need, and how much it will cost. I got an estimate over the phone and the guy say it might be around 700 for the full face which includes the neck. I am thinking about adding in my underarms too, if I can afford it. they said it would probably be around 500 for my underarms.

I called two places the first place I called give me a quote of 2422.50 for what I needed to have done. I found this to be a little high, so I called this place called American Laser,  I was more impressed by the information I got from this place over the phone. Although I felt like both places were very curidious to me even when I told them I was trans. Which is to be expected because I am a potential customer to them.

I am very excited about starting cause this is another big step in my transition, at the same time I am a little nervous about the pain. I think I might get some of that numbing cream. so it won't be so bad.

is this a good price for this treatment I am having done.

what can I expect to feel when I start having these treatments. how long will it take to see a noticable difference.

700 dollars for all of your sessions  for your beard is a very decent price. (I'm assuming it's all the sessions b/c 700 for one session is expensive)

I know that after my first treatment I didn't really have to shave my neck and sideburns area anymore, but my chin and lip are more resilient and I think have more blonde hair in them. I'm getting rid of them with electrolysis.

So assuming you respond well, laser will help you get rid of a lot of hair in a pretty short amount of time. Don't be surprised if they start you off on a lower setting for your first session, so hope for the best but don't get disappointed if you don't meet your expectations.

As for pain, I didn't think it was that bad. I don't think electrolysis hurts that much either, so I might be the wrong person to ask about pain. I have a friend that uses an over the counter gel with numbing medication which she applies before her sessions.

yea I am thinking about buying some of that numbing cream so the pain won't be so bad, I think what I will do is I will have my underarms lasered someother time, and have them laser my lower legs.

You can also take a few aspirin or ibuprofen or Tylenol beforehand. That's what I always do, and while I'm not sure it helps much, it doesn't hurt.
