Damn.  I have lived in the place I am at for 14 years.  Been transitioning for the past 8 years.  In the past month I have new upstairs neighbors that ...well it sounds like a circus over my head.  I have been fearful of complaining to my landlady...or of asking her for anything.  fear that if she knows I am trans, I will be asked to move.  Anyway, I took the plunge today.  Called her, complained about the noise and also told her that I am not sure if my trans status is why these neighbors are being this way.  She told me she already gathered I am trans.  Was just waiting for me to say something.  With the noise upstairs, she said,"Just let me know when you want to file a formal complaint, and I will quite them down."  She then asked if I would be willing to do some work for her and that she would pay me for my time.  Damn!  I am in shock!
