Buh lost my other thread from before.

But yeah, I received my letter for T and I could use a list of transgender friendly HRT establishments in the Dallas/Ft Worth area? My doctor didn't have any references for me so hmm.

DR. KAREN KING, DALLAS, TEXAS
9323 Garland Rd Ste 111, Dallas, TX, 75218 Phone: (214) 328-7400 Fax: (214) 328-7680

"Dr. King will do the work right away, but she will not prescribe any hormones for a smoker, and insists you be quit (due to
her unwillingness to associate with the increased risk of stroke from the hormones). Both are very helpful about helping out
with extending or renewing prescriptions in an emergency." - kaliscion@->-bleeped-<-

DR. APRIL DAY, FAMILY MEDICAL CENTER, GARLAND, TEXAS
601 Clara Barton Boulevard, Suite 140 Garland, TX 75042 (972)272-6561
Anon says: "The staff and nurses in Dr. Day's office are all great. Since I started seeing her they've slipped up with my name
and pronouns maybe once, but generally they all call me by my chosen name (even though it's not the name on my medical
records) and treat me with the same respect and professionalism that they would any other patient."
Anon: "Family doctor who will also prescribe HRT; does not require a therapist's letter."

Dr. Day does not practice HRT any longer, obviously screening out new patients.
Always loving me first, everyone else starting second.

I have one NOT TO GO TO. Don't see Dr. Dorfman. He didn't follow my wishes and judged my "passibility" when I first saw him. He also insisted on Premarin, even though it was going to cost me $300 per month due to my crappy insurance. Estradiol was 20x less money

I was seeing Dr. Courtney Ridley but she moved to california. I need a new HRT doc. Preferably, one that will prescribe injectable E.

The Rose that Grew from Concrete
Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete?
Proving nature's law is wrong it learned to walk with out having feet.
Funny it seems, but by keeping it's dreams,
it learned to breathe fresh air.

Dayumson,

I strongly recommend emailing "info@genderexpansionproject.org" and inquiring about friendly providers in your area.  Gender Expansion Project primarily serves the rural Northwest, which I didn't realize until after I had already emailed them for help.  However, even though I reside in Indiana, they provided me with a huge list of friendly providers and therapists in my city and even presented me with trans-friendly policies promoted by my university.  I was impressed by how helpful they were.

Best wishes,

AlmightyMouse
