I already wrote here that not much regret that I did a complete change of sex. I should have done just orchiectomy. I've always looked like a girl. I took the girl. But I'm late start of HRT, because she did not know where to start, there was no information. I did the operation fail, and since I was circumcised vagina has turned a little. Now I need to do more complicated surgery to increase the recto-vaginal sigmavidnym way. It is expensive, and I have no money. I've done so many stupid things that just drive you mad. In Kazakhstan, the negative attitude towards transsexuals, I feel every day attacks, laughter ... and insults ... So before you make a complete operation should think about everything. Maybe you should not do everything, perhaps enough orchiectomy ...

I am pretty happy with my surgery, but then again i spent 1 year researching the doctor best for my situation, and 2 years RLE before deciding to do it (although i always knew i would)  to me i couldn't stand that i had that thing even on me....  It was coming off one way or another. heh.

Hi Amazon!   Wow Kazakhstan?  I don't think I've ever met anyone from there.  These things happen sometimes, and I'm sorry you get such negative reactions from people.  This is a pretty good place to get information and connect with others who understand what you're going through.

I am very pleased with having surgery, it is the best thing I've ever done for myself.  I moved from the U.S. to Australia and started a whole new life after SRS, and have had no problems fitting in here.  I don't know if moving might be an option for you, but sometimes it can help to get a fresh start.

Amazon - I'm sorry things have not worked out quite how you wanted them to. I hope that can be fixed in time. *hugs*

I agree though that there definite needs to be a lot of time and thought put into the decision to have surgery. Although most of us tend to have thought about it since we were very young. I was in transition for at least a year before I scheduled surgery and then didn't actually have the surgery for almost another year. I'd definitely say it was worth it for me though! =)

Hi Amazon,
Let me commend you for your tenacity in living by your convictions, in a culture that represses individuality. I have a limited understanding of your culture and admire you for what you have done. I encourage you to live the life you were predestined to live, as the woman you were meant to be. I trust you will be able to find your freedom, hopefully within your culture, or else where you  find acceptance. I have never found acceptance within the male culture that I have been associated with; I have only found acceptance in the community I am destined to be.
If acceptance to you means leaving the land you call home; then so be it. Acceptance to me is leaving everything nurturing has taught me to be as a falsehood; to a life where I should be.

I'm really pleased you have found acceptance here. I'm sure the community here would be worse off without your presence. I mean that in all sincerity. I think in any culture or country, it is not easy to transition from one genfer to another. So I'm really pleased we have been able to embrace your courage and provide the acceptance you so deservedly command.
I say what I've said, in the knowledge of knowing some macho Australians who preferred to live there life under a falsehood of acceptence in a sporting culture that encourages denial of one's own feelings. Knowing full well, these sporting fraternities regrettably underpin a considerable part of Australian culture.
I look forward to learning from your experiences.

Hi Catherine, and thanks.  They're no worse here than in America with their endless football, baseball, basketball... at least in ice hockey they just beat the heck out of each other and don't mess around lol

But I love Aussie culture despite the sports fans, and there are enough cute guys into surfing here that going down to the beach is always fun

Yes; most of the surfing fraternity are the real down to earth guys, not too pretensious. Although my mother reckons, country boys are the salt of the earth. Well, I think she's bias; being a country girl herself. But there may be an element of truth in it. If you're ever round Avoca Beach way, drop in, there is always a cup of tea waiting. (That's my upbringing in the CWA [Country Womens Association] its the real government in residence. The Labor / Liberals etc, think they have the game sown up, but in reality it's the CWA that have it all organised) Enjoy the summer and remember to "Slip, slop. slap" It can be a mean sun at times. If I am honest, I too would have liked to have bottom surgery only and let nature and my personality, take their course.
