I'd like to find someone to spend the rest of my life with someday, but I wouldn't characterize it as true love.

Yes, absolutely. My partner of almost six years left me around six months ago in pretty brutal circumstances, I truly loved her and I believe it's possible that two people can love each other.

I most definitely believe in true love. My ex- and I broke up in 1999. Here it is 2011, we share the same home with our children and the dog. We are not lovers (which breaks my heart every day) but at least I am in her midst. If this is the only way I can be with her, in her presence, then I guess it's that's the way it's got to be. But in spite of everything I have never stopped loving her with all my heart. Wish, wish, wish we could be lovers again. Sigh.

Yes I do believe in that kind of love but the reality is that it's a lot of work. Sharing your life is not always easy and it takes commitment to see it through the tough times.

Yes i believe in love but for many yrs i have never found that love until i relaized God is love and love is God so i make a resting place for God/Love in my heart.

I believe in love, true love! I love one person she is everything to me my world, my moon, my stars, my every breath! I have loved her almost 14yrs now.  like happily ever after love? Yes I believe in that as well. I was living it for most of my life! I cant imagine my life without her, I feel there is no me with out her,  but unfortunatly I found out she doesnt feel the same way, and my happily ever after might be coming to an end.

yes its not easy, i have learned that through the years,  but its alot harder when its only one having the commitment and one causing the problems, yet saying she doesnt mean to.

I thought so at one time, but now I am not sure.  Three divorces later and I am pretty jaded.  So in humans I don't believe so anymore.  If you do find that one special person, you both have to work at being in love with each other, not just love one another.

But one thing I do know is that true love does exist and your true love has four legs.  Animals give unconditional love, and all you need to to is open your heart to it.  Never yell at them,never hurt them, always love and care for them.
