Steph

Have any of the ladies here experienced any loss of vaginal depth.  I realize that some is to be expected and obviously there will be some loss if dilations are not maintained but I was wondering if there was a loss despite maintaining the dilation schedule.

Yes... even with the best will in the world, that just seemed to be the way things happened, despite being absolutely rigourous — even over-zealous — with my dilating schedule for the first 8 months or so post-op.

Almost two years on, I don't think there's much I can do about it anyway, not that I'm seeing a lot of action on that front due to a monastic life of long working hours and coming home and collapsing into bed early.  :(

Steph,
I have lost some and I think it is caused by the scarring tissue. I really don't care as I don't think I will ever have a man inside me anyway. I buy the toys that fit and I'm happy enough. I kept up with my dilation sessions on a timely matter for about 2 years and I did notice a some loss. That is when I just decided that I will do them and if I miss a session oh well. I haven't loss any in over a year now, I guess I hav leveled out. I lost about 3/4 of an inch. I started out at 4 3/4 inches and now I'm about 4 inches. That is fine with me. I started out just wanting the thing cut off anyway and only a clit for my fun. So, I don't use my vagina, it is only something I maintain once a week and hope I don't get a yeast infection.

Yes...

I started with 5 3/4 inches and lost 1/2 inch within a short period of time.

I am now at 5 inches after 4 years and only dilate 1 hour a week (During my weekend lay in)

If I miss a weekly dilation I experience tightness in my Vagina.

Very little change probably from scarring, I've also noticed that the larger the stent I use the less depth I have. About a quarter inch every time I go to a bigger size stent, I think in time when everything settles down the depth will increase. I'm at 5" now.

Perhaps it has to do with your dilation regimen.  I use the three different stents on a daily basis, but I know the regimen varies according to the SRS surgeon.  BTW 5" is a very "normal" depth in GG's and a blessing in TS girls. ;D

hello,

i am about two years and have maintained a very steady 5" depth.  doctor menard in canada was my surgeon, and his instructions for dilation are daily for the first year, twice daily for the first six months. i cheated actually, because while i was working i only dilated once a day. to make up for it, i doubled up on the time required for a single session.

i am supposed to dilate at least once a week for the rest of my life. i try to do it at least 3 times weekly, but i have learned how to enjoy it. also, i like being with men, and i like big ones. sometimes it can be a little painful, and i can be sore afterwards, but if i am seeing a guy i just don't bother dilating. either way, it has become a pleasant experience.

The topic was about vaginal depth, not about your sexual partners, the size of their penises, whether you like men, or if you are sore after sex.   ::)

Lets see I started off with 5 1/2" went to 6" while still in Thailand, eventually went up to just over 6 1/2" while still there, as swelling went down in the labia etc. I had an apparent loss down to 6". Where I still am 7 months later.
My former g/f started out with like 7" with a different surgeon and is now struggling to keep 5 1/5"-6" and she is approx 4 months post op now.

Am I asking a stupid question, but as people seem concerned with 1/2 inch increments, just how do you measure depth ?

To the point where even with legs really "wide" the line on the stent dissapears totally inside, or to the lips of your outer labia (which is as close as a guy could get if sinking fully in - an how many guys do that ?) ?

For me there's nearly an inch of difference between the two measurements. Guess I have the standard "Canadian" 5 1/2 inches however you look at it, after losing maybe 1/2 inch since I was dilating three times a day, probably due to swelling going down.

But I'm not sure that I have the width to acommodate all those "well hung" lumberjacks and mounties that I thought I would get by going to Canada  ;)  !!!

Think genetic girls rarely have more than 5 inches to where the cervix is reached anyway, but of course they have enough "stretch" available for chilbirth .... never mind "rabbits" or even lumberjacks  :) !

Interesting topic.

I am completely fascinated by this... I have never thought about this aspect before, so forgive the questions from an ignorant fool.

Is depth important?  What happens if your partner's equipment is bigger than X inches?

Thanks for asking the questions Laura and Trinity. I would like to learn the answers too.

Measurements are made by way of my stents having one inch incrememnts marked on them when they were made. To ensure that depth is reached each time dilating. Otherwise depth can be lost width can be gained back but it is important to maintain depth as that may be impossible to gain back after loss without further surgeries.

Hi Steph,

I seem to be stable at having 6 ¾" inches in my depth. As time goes on that may decrease a little but, as it has been said, still above the average woman. I think as long as one is sensible about their dilation routine a good depth can be maintained. Like other areas of our lives there is a lot of hype and hot air over this issue.

I've managed to maintain about six inches, I stick religiously to my dilation routine.

It seems I may have lost a tad bit of depth since the surgery. Perhaps due to not as much dialating.

Girls, may I ask who were your surgeons?  I went to Dr. Meltzer.  I had extensive skin grafting, and my vaginal depth is only 5 inches, which is pretty normal in genetic females. :) I'm not complaining.

P.S.  Great tan, Rara :)

Depth can matter if your partner is overly large. Some women cannot accomodate larger men. I have this issue as well.
There are ways around the depth issue. Usually 'longer' men have learned how to circumvent this and don't reach too deeply.
There are no remedies for width though, which I have an even bigger problem with. I cannot accomodate thicker around men.
Not much you can do about that, except to substitute other pleasures for intercourse.

Don't worry much about depth and width - many women have problems in these areas. It's perfectly normal.
PuSsies are not one-size-fits-all. LOL

If you do end up with shallow depth or narrow width - you should be fine so long as you stay away from black men.
