Hi Louise,
Welcome to the best site around for 'our' generation. Susan's was a great place back in the early 2000's; now, it's totally awesome. Fancy!! 8200 people call it home. That surely must put Susan in the running for the Noble Peace Prize, in all seriousness. Back when I wasn't too sure of what was going on, Susan's gave me an incrediable amount of information that has been tested by time, and is still true today.
Although you are a young 33, don't take too long to set your plan out. If you ask a lot of us 'oldies', the one main theme to come through is, "I wish I'd done it earlier". The info is here, and so is the relationships. Enjoy the journey, it can be a rollercoaster at times, but it a most amazing one to part of. Be safe, well and happy

Hi Louise, I'm from Bristol, if you are planning on transisioning through the NHS then you'll have to be patient as they could be beaten in a race by a snail, if this is so then I strongly recommend speaking to your GP asap to get the ball rolling, if your GP isn't supporting then it's your right to ask for another GP (my whole health practice seems to be anti TG but i'm signing up to a new one next week).

also, start saving as resupplying your wardrobe will be expensive but it's nothing compared to the cost of elecrolosys which isn't paid for by the NHS.

If you want any advice on dealing with the NHS (or anything else about the early stages) then feel free to contact me by PM, no matter how long it takes with the NHS remain calm, polite & patient.

And yes Tracey I think it was Jonah, my religious education was spotty to say the least . I thought uou had limericked yourself to a stand still. ( will she take the bait, me thinks )

I'm fine Louse, it is just about 5 pm on Saturday 1 Oct. That's the difference in time zones. But the real reason is that Aussies are so competitive we are a day ahead of you guys .

OK it's scary and I was shaking like a leaf. I met a (TG) friend in a gay pub and I was trembling so much I spilt my drink. A gay guy walked passed gave me a kiss on the cheek and said, you're doing fine relax. It was my first time out as Cindy.
