Reactions Today - I had to Laugh, But I Was Wary

It was a beautiful day today and I went out, searching for exhaust system parts.

I was wearing my black feminine cut compression top, women's boot-cut jeans, one of my pretty watches and my new purse.

I checked six or seven stores, with no success whatsoever, but the situational awareness was as always, at maximum.

I had been getting stares last summer but much more so, today. Some seemed transfixed at either the body, the boobs or the total effect of these features coupled with the confident presentation of an experienced mechanic who knew exactly what she wanted.

But at the same time, while I am in good shape and trained, I've lost alot of muscle mass and there are some pretty 'rough and tough' looking big guys out there and given that at present, I am functioning in 'male mode' [for the most part, it's decreasing over the continuum, thank God], I can't push the envelope too hard feminization-wise, while still operating in this mode.

Caution and discretion are the orders of the day here, but I'll be honest with you, the tolerance for this is also decreasing over the continuum.

I want 'the old' behind me.

But still, the guys' reactions were amusing.

Hi Rhonda, I know how you feel with the stares. I am getting well developed and it's new and amusing. Kinda makes you smirk knowing that at one time the roles were reversed. It also makes you realize the type of danger we can get into. One thing I have learned is to stay away from the teasing except with people we know very well. Other than that this is a blast I wouldn't change it for anything. Jolene 😉

Sounds like an opportunity for a lot of fun. I'm a lot less wary than I used to be. I flirt with the guys at the shop and most of the guys at the track know me and the only things I here are "Are you ok?" or "I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to spin you out back there".
They're getting used to women drivers though. Last season there were 4 of us. I'm the only one old enough to have grandchildren though.
