Hello ladies, as some of you know I had ffs with Dr Spiegel approximately two and a half months ago and I am wondering if there are any tips to help with the swelling. Primarily in the jaw section. I have days where I feel so beautiful, and days where I feel like I look extremely 'awkward' or I should say my jaw looks extremely awkward, not because of any asymmetry or anything of that sort simply because it bulges out, clearly swollen. I am wondering if those of you who have experienced FFS have gone through this phase where the lower face area seems a bit awkwardly large and swollen even almost three months after surgery. I am not saying it's extremely swollen but it definitely shows a bit. Also as far as the little fat underneath the chin, it wasn't there before and I am only twenty two so Dr Spiegel didn't recommend any lower face lift because he says I am so young, and have good skin so it should tighten up, did you guys experience this as well? Is there any kind of massaging I should be doing?

Thank you so much in advance.
Xoxo

my jaw and nose jobs took many months to get slimmed and shaped up after surgery so give it time.

Friend of mine went there two Octobers ago. Her facial swelling did not go completely away until January.

Have you talked with Dr. Spiegel's staff about your swelling and what types of medications can be the most useful to make it manageable?

What? it took two years for it to go down?

No salt, no alcohol, sleeping with your head elevated and taking bromelaine.

It takes up to a full year for the swelling to completely dissipate.
