So I'm still trying to get used to using a STP.  I can work it fine.  but my problem is that taking it in and out is really inconvient.  especially in public bathrooms.

So I was thinking of getting a STP packer.  but the first thing that I wonder is out does the medicine spoon (or funnel thing) stay in your pants?  I mean, are you supposed to sit on it and walk around while feeling it there?  Wouldn't it hurt to sit on?  Or at least just feel really weird?

Maybe I will never understand it until I try it, but I'm hesitant to buy one unless I can understand how it would work and see if it would work for me.

Usually there is enough tubing so you can fold the spoon up so its laying just under the waist band. Or you can fold it down if you'd like. I wouldn't say sitting on it would be so good.

Here are a couple of videos that are on youtube on how a spoon and whiz packer packs.  Hope it helps.  Some dudes like the spoon where others will swear that the whiz is the best....but then there are nipple lovers.  Just goes to show, that there is something for everyone.

How does the Whiz Packer pack?

How does the Spoon Packer pack?

yes the stp medicine spoon part stays in your pants. which is why i dont like medicine spoon based stps the medicine spoon is super uncomfortable for me. so i make my own stps. here is a link to my instructions: https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,105720.msg794848.html#msg794848

Well I'm hoping to get (or make) a STP packer.  in that case, it would have to stay in my pants, because I'm not going to be adding or removing a packer.
But in the case of a medicine spoon packer, I still can't imagine how it is supposed to just hang out in your pants all the time.

I guess I'll have to just buy one and find out.

If you think you can, you should try and make it yourself. There's some good video's going 'round on Youtube about how to turn a Mr.Limpy model softpacker into a (medicinespoon)stp. It's not that hard and it saves you a lot of money. Also, if you feel it's not good enough, you can always order it afterwards. But then, atleast, you know you'd be okay with having the spoon (or whatever end you like) in your pants!
