Its been a pretty awesome week with passing lately.
Last Friday night, I was out at a bar waiting in line for the bathroom when I realized that they were all single bathrooms, so decidThed to use the mens. Just walked right in with other guys waiting behind me, and then as I closed the door realized there was only a urinal. I don't have an stp, and couldn't go back out and use the other unisex bathroom instead, so I peed in the urinal and didn't pee on my self at all. Twice that night! Whoo hooo!!! I was standing super awkardly so it would never work in a more public bathroom, but I'm still pretty proud of my self. My friend Erin was really annoyed when I came back out and there were still 3 girls waiting in line in front of her, but she gave me a high five after when I told her I sucessfully used the urinal.
Then last night, I was in a thrift store trying to find stuff for a Doctor costume (I'm going out with 2 friends, and were dressing as The Doctor 9,10, and 11 with me as 11, and our story is that our Tardis' got stuck in some crazy time rift and pulled us into a point in time that should have never existed.) One of the guys who was working was pretty obviously gay, and kept checking me out the whole time. He ended up being the cashier (i found a pretty close match for the shirt) and was totally flirting with me the whole time. I decided to go with it and flirt a little, and it was kind of funny when he was trying to be all cool and act like he wasn't staring at me the whole time.
Today at work, I was working between the registers and gave a couple factory tours when this couple who had been on my tour comes to check out at my register. She's like "First she's our tour guide, now she's our cashier, this girl just does everything... or he? um.. sorry, I really can't tell." I just kinda laughed and continued to ring her out, kind of watching for where my co worker who gets into everyones business was to see if she heard. I could tell she didn't say it in a mean way at all, so as Im handing her her credit card back, I kind of leaned in and said "Legally my name is Miranda, but I don't really use that name outside of work much, so you were kind of right with your confusion." She just nodded and says "I have a cousin like you." and gave me this knowing smile like she understood what I was vaguely saying, and I didn't have to explain more. Totally made my day, especially since she had been on my tour, meaning she had already watched me and listened to me talk for half an hour before, and was still confused.
