So I had a phone consultation with Dr Z a couple weeks back.  He gave me the full load out - hairline, brow, chin, nose, cheeks(what the ef - I need MORE cheeks? :s  ), and trach shave.  IT scared me how much it sounded like he wanted to homogenize my face.  I like having some oddities, like my funky big ol schnoz.  It gives my face character.  And it's not cheap!  I was wondering if any girls on here had any experience having work done by Dr Z?

I am very happy with the results.  As a matter of fact, I just spent the weekend providing post-op care to another one of his patients who is an acquaintance  of mine.

The doctor will do whatever you wish to have done.  If you wish to keep your nose as it is, that will not be a problem.  He makes his recommendations on how best to completely feminize your face.  He does not have a "formula" to follow, and tries to customize his technique to each individual face.

Yes, it is expensive.  But any good plastic surgeon would charge about the same amount.

   I'd do some shopping around before making a decision. Some surgeons will try and sell you the whole package even if you don't need it.

I felt the same way as you but Sandy is right. If you don't agree with something, just tell him. He will only do what you want. I've seen plenty of his work and I'm very impressed. He and his staff are very welcoming and professional as well. I have a date for surgery set in January.

Thank you. That was very sweet of you to say. But like I told a few other people, pictures only say so much. I just happened to have my hair done, enough makeup, good lighting and camera angle. Trust me, I took several shots before choosing the one I thought I looked best(more female) in.

Well I would love to see the others. I myself am gonna need a lot of work. have no idea how I'm gonna raise THAT kinda money

Thanks, Sandy!  Dr Z did seem to be accommodating when I mentioned that I was mostly interested in certain areas, like brow, hairline, and trach.  That's what he originally quoted.  It was all line-itemed in the quote reinforcing that it was an ala carte deal, which I was appreciative of.  I'll take a read through of your blog when I get a sec.

Dr Z is the man! He knows what hes talking about. Hes actually reasonable comparing other surgeons of the same caliber.  Who do we have here in the states? Spiegel does very minimal work and is very high, same with Dr. Mayer, Meltzer is not really specializing in FFS and Dr. O lol we all know...The two best are Dr. Z  and Dr. Di Maggio in Buenos Aries, Argentina imo. I just had some revisionary to the jawline're-angled, took out the titanium plate that Dr. 0 didnt apparently screw in and was floating around in my chin, so he took that out and burred down my chin, also revised my forehead with scalp advancement  3/4" more, and then re-did the orbital rim...All of which should have been done more aggressively in the first place.  I would have saved alot of money if i had gone to him first, as he is very aggressive.  Oh, and he is the very best BD surgeon i have met. He will get them as together as he can..When i have my bra off i can only stick one finger between them..The first surgeon i could put my whole hand between them..He def knows how to make the pockets correctly..Most MTF surgeons will just put them in like they would a genetic females and what happens is you end up with a huge gap..

I wouldn't go to Dr. Ousterhout either, for several reasons; but I'm also not sure that Dr. Zukowski would be right for me. I like Dr. Spiegel, so we plainly disagree there.
Though Dr. Di Maggio is definitely very good at what he does. ~What about Dr. Gary Alter, any opinions, I haven't really seen his name being tossed around on these forums?

Michelle is referring to an aspect of breast augmentation. Difference in male and female skeletons/muscles results in a different technique for us girls. BD itself could stand for breast diameter.

I agree 100% on what you said about Spiegel. I'm glad to hear another success by Dr. Z as I'm going under with him in January. And I'm not doing my cheeks. At least not implants. I'm still considering a fat graft. I understand you don't want to post a pic on here but would you PM me one?

just dont do your cheeks. not even fat grafts. trust me. you dont want the *pumped ->-bleeped-<- look*  your cheeks are fine and full you dont need bigger cheeks trust me lol....hes going to soften your features. i recommend you do your boobs at same time like i did. no pain what so ever. kill 2 birds wit one stone.

alot of people say dr z is a rude guy beacuse he bad mouths other surgeons but what do they excpect hes from new york! lol...thats the new york outspoken attitude new yorkers have,

hes actually the sweetest guy of all the surgeons, super down to earth. i hung out with him and his wife all night at the seminar in atlanta last month, we were just laughing it up,they are the sweetest.

how many surgeons actually make gay pride floats during gay pride and have a bunch of ->-bleeped-<-s parade on it? dr z thats who lol.

i feel all they other american surgeons are quite snobby and hide from their unhappy patients and give them the run around hoping they will just go away, dr z does not hide from his patients and does not avoid any unhappy patients like dr osterhaut and spiegel do!

if your not happy he will fix you not hide from you, no questions asked. this is why i chose him. when he personally called me from his house phone lol. that told me this is not a surgeon that runs and hides from his unhappy patients like most surgeons do. and thats when i chose him and glad i did ;>

Yea valerie is a good friend of mine she looks really good and *natural* which is important, as do i.

you wanna remain looking natural to avoid getting read. this is why im not for that cheek fat grafting.

if you look at ->-bleeped-<-girl on youtube thats the only thing i can say i dont like about her. her cheeks are too pumped looking. her video is what made me not do my cheeks lol. everything else on her looks good though as well as all his other girls.

all the girls ive seen on youtube look good that went to dr z.

the ones that went to dr o pay like 40 to 50 k which is beyond ridiculous and just shows how much of a jerk he is. and with paying that much he still gurantees nothing and lots of his patients have issues with countless things like broken chin jaw, holes in forhead. and if you like your face which im guessing you do kiss it goodbye beacuse dr o likes to make you look like a completley diffrent person. you will not even recognize yourself. i had a friend that actually sent her genetic girl friend to dr o pretending to be trans just to see how honest he was and when she walked in the room hee looked at her and said there is nothing femminine about your face lol. hes very dishonest.

the spiegel girls ive seen on youtube look no diffrent from there original face, this kept me away from him. glad i did.

theres a guy thats good in guara-lajara mexico named dr sonny but i wouldnt go to him if it was free. i hear he doesent even do bloodwork on you, i can only imagine how clean his insturments must be, *yikes* oh and i had a friend that went to him and she still looks hard so i guess hes not that good but has done some good results but hes not very consistent.

i would do my face with dr zukowski or dr suporn or chettawut. and thats really it.
