A reader writes: "I'm a cis-gendered woman who sometimes leads free workshops on fertility awareness for cis-women and people with 'female' reproductive systems. For those who don't know, fertility awareness is a scientifically proven form of DIY health care where you can learn to observe and interpret the various fertility signs that occur throughout the menstrual cycle. The information you gather can be used to monitor gynecological health in general, and/or as a method of birth control by telling you when you are potentially fertile.

"Recently someone in the group asked what the effects of taking T would have on ovulation, and the noticeable effects of ovulation, such as changing cervical fluid, cervical position, waking temperature, and menstruation. I'd read that taking T may or may not stop ovulation and menstruation, but I found myself wishing I had more insight into this to better address their question.
