...and undeniably, this is secondary to both transition and HRT induced cognitive changes.

But it may well be simply a function of 'liberation' and that of a mind so repressed and captive for so many long years, that is now finally free.

It occurred to me earlier in the week; I paused, thinking.....

And I just marveled at it; such vast improvement. Everything is better, improved now.

It had me thinking to the effect.

"If only I had this mind so many years ago, what could have been?"

What could have been?

As I stated before: Transition and HRT has revolutionized my life.

What could have been, I wonder?

Rhonda,

It is so please to hear when some who has been a difficault period in their life and is starting to move on. You are a beautiful person who has been through a tough patch.

As Cindi would Say; Chin up.

Oh thanx, hon.

It was pretty 'rocky' during the first year or so and I do occasionally 'have my moments', but I do believe that now things are normalizing and 'aligning up'.

I had commented some time back to good friend, with respect to my departure from another TS support forum that,

"I think that some of us need to transition in isolation, because of who we are (personality-wise) and what we have passed through in life."

For the betterment of others, that is.

But at this juncture, I will no longer apply this to myself and I found out the hard way (as usual) that I badly need socialization and support from others of like mind and 'life disposition'.

But again, I can't help but to marvel over how many aspects and dimensions of the total personal have so vastly improved.

I would categorize it as solid empirical evidence of the existence and reality of the 'condition'.

What could have been, I wonder?

And when people finally realize that they're going to die with that sad musing regretfully whispered into the fading light...

Hi Rhonda, I am glad to hear you are doing well.  I was with you during part of your first year and I remember many of those rough spots.  All I can really say is I do know what you mean because I have my moments as well. :)

Good luck and I hope you stay feeling better.

That's a nice photo of you, Melissa.

You were there. You saw it.

I negotiated a...real bad phase.

I don't ever want to go through that again.....

Thank you Rhonda.  I don't want you to have to go through that again either.
