Yeah, I watched a lot, but not all, of the debate. I'm not a total masochist.

What struck me about Romney was his facial expressions. He has a lousy poker face and when he was upset or offended, it was very obvious. When you're sitting across from certain world leaders and they can read your face, well, that's a bad thing. Because we all know good diplomacy begins with great bull->-bleeped-<-.
Romney also demanded he not be interrupted but when he was doing the interrupting he had no problem and often tried to talk over the other candidates. (Also not a good diplomatic move.) The whole thing reminded me of some schoolyard banter, "Yeah? Well your momma wears combat boots!" That's why I couldn't watch the whole thing.
But, like it or not, Cain seemed the most genuine, crazy, but genuine. He really has no idea what he's talking about half the time but he says it with real conviction. I guess we have to remember Cain was a motivational speaker for something like 15 years before hopping on the Republican presidential bandwagon. It shows.
As far as Perry, he's a gunslinger and shoots anyone or anything he doesn't like, another diplomatic no-no. But he really did handle Romney well and got Mitt's feathers ruffled more than once.
All in all there was a lot of great entertainment and comedy that came out of that debate. And that's what I'll miss when it's over.
Prediction: They will be on the Republican ticket in 2012

But the winner in a squeaker..
