Hey guys :)

I just had my reduction done a little over a week ago...while it's not the same as a chest reconstruction I figured I'd come here and ask you guys...when did you feel ready/safe to go back to working out? My surgeon's being a bit vague about when I can get back to working out. Granted...I'm totally not feeling up to it yet and am still moving slowly in general...I'm feeling ansty to get back to some core work. Now that there's so much less chest, my tummy looks pretty "fluffy". I knew it would..."ratio" of breast to stomach changed so much....

I also ended up a little smaller of a chest than I'd had invisioned in my head so...I really want to shrink the waist...and now.

Thanks in advance!
I'm also the spouse to the fabulous Mrs. Cynthialee.

Took me longer than 3 months as well.  Can't remember exactly but more like 6.  You can try very light weights at the time recommended by your surgeon, but listen to your body.  If it feels wrong, stop.  Good luck!

When the scars had mostly turned pale and softened up a bit so that I felt sure I wouldn't stretch them out too much, I started doing push-ups again.

Listen to your body.
If it "pulls uncomfortably" or "hurts" then stop or change positions on things.

My surgeon actually recommended 4-6weeks, which surprised me.
I actually waited about 3months. I didnt want to stretch my scars, but since my surgeon said 4 weeks, I had to go back to work after 4weeks, so my scars have stretched abit anyway.
