Going to Court Tomorrow

Tomorrow morning I a am going into court. I may loose right off the bat, but I have a decent attorney and she has been preparing for several days.

I could really use some positive energy in the form of prayer or positive thoughts. What ever you feel most comfortable. I have an open spirituality that can except good things from all persuasions.

My Contempt court date of Thurs, the 27th was delayed, pushed back to the 10th. Serving Sheriff said "yea, they NEVER give up" as Ex-wife and I spar for custody of our 2 kids! God, in the form of her lawyer and for whatever reasons, just switched set hearing date and gave me 2 more weeks to prepare - sans lawyers - a Motion for Dismissal, a Counter-claim for Contempt and a Petition for Modification of Physical Custody!

No! Couldn't be  . . . is it possible she's been lying to EVERYBODY and filed claim against me is baseless???

Divorce took 2 years, final since Dec 2010 and despite her AWARDED CUSTODY currently living out of a motel GUESS WHO's had the kids for most of that time??

I lost. The VA doesn't need to provide me Gender Therapy and the judge is not allowed to second guess doctors. I don't dislike the judge. In fact he was a very nice man and after the end of the hearing he wished me all the best with my transition. I did set the ground work for an appeal and at the very least my attorney now has an expert wittnes that she can use in cases involving other transgender clients. It is a small victory, but the next transgender client coming along will appreciate it.

The judge did tell me that the stay of commitment order was really just a contract between me and the VA. If he had been able to order the VA to provide the GT they would have withdrawn from the contract. So, since I lost I am withdrawing from the contract. I canceled all my appointments with them and will not be returning until the stay of commitment order is ended. At that point I will try again using administrative methods. At least they won't have the power of the state to order me to see a psychiatrist.

Tomorrow I file some complaints against the VA at both the state department of human services and with the patient advocate.

They have been trying to have me committed because sometimes I get really depressed and I have suicidal Ideation. They want to treat the suicidality as a symptom of a personality disorder, I want them to treat it as a symptom fo Gender Dysphoria. Their way they try and coerce me in to Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I want to go to Gender Therapy. Their treatment is to try and break me down so I will buy into their values. My way is to empower me to make healthy decisions for myself that will bring me to a place that I want to be whether they want me there or not.

I am a Marine and no pinhead Doctor is going to get me to chang my beliefs without first proving to me that my ideas are wrong. They have not shown me one report about the success of using DBT as a treatment for Gender Dysphoria. They haven't proven to me that I have a personality disorder. So Screw them!
