Michelle.

Does anyone know how the Thai surgeons have fared during this unfolding disaster?

The flooding has entered northern Bangkok.

Kathoey - ladyboys: Thailand's third gender... are enjoying the beach strictly indoor activities more than ever!

( MODS! Stop me now! lol Surely there's A Court Order somewhere against this sort of thing! )

QuoteLegal recognition of Kathoeys' status in society is not so charitable and they suffer considerable discrimination. Even after gender reassignment Kathoeys are not allowed to describe themselves as female and their passport, among other important documents, must show their birth gender. Should they fall foul of the law . . .
they can always come here where Christians will, as a favor, only CRUCIFY 'em!
"But it's no use now," thought poor Alice, "to pretend be two people!
"Why, there's hardly enough of me left to make one respectable person!"

Babz, congrats and good luck on your upcoming trip. Heres hoping your feet stay dry.

Kiera, it was the ancient Romans who did the crucifying. Amongst the unknown number, was perhaps the most famous Jew of all time.

HI Michelle, I have my surgery with Dr Chettawut In Bangkok  on the 22nd November and travelling on 15th so I am concerned, But I have a friend who lives In Bangkok and he rang me this afternoon and there Is no real big threat In the Area that I am going and by the time I go the waters will probably start to recede, This weekend Is the worst Time for High tides and mass water flow

Best Regards

Barbara

hey im having srs on nov 14 and i was wondering if the floodings will get worse and i should be worried beacuse i hear the airports are closed and am also concerned the floodings could get even worse, ugh more drama to worry about, as if srs isnt enough, lol. thanks.

I arrive in Thailand on the 24th of November and have my surgery on the 28th, so when I heard about these floods I got worried that it could cause some sugerys to be cancelled, which in turn could delay mine. But those worries (for now lol) are for not. Everything should be better by the time I get there, and my dates a go.

hi nicole, was wondering why you chose suporn?

this may sound funny since im 2 weeks from srs with suporn but im having second thoughts about choosing him and thinking of cancelling all together, i just read a post on here of about 3 girls that are having issues with inserting dialators due to width of vagina closing up were they can barely get a pencil in there, this plus the floodings plus the aggressive aftercare and being on a plane sitting on my vag for 24 hrs plus lol. has me forgetting it all together, then again bowers has alot of complications and so does brassard and meltzer, i guess theres no surgeon thats perfect in all aspects of srs,  i am so *frustrated* ugh, lol

Well I can't help you on that call.....as I'm actually seeing Dr Chettawut, who I picked based on the experiences other trans women have had with him and them being happy with there results.

Dr. Suporn has a great rep from what I heard, and does have one semi famous patient that I know of.....a porn star by the name of Danielle Foxxx (YES 3 x's  ) She had surgery, and successively went back to porn.....sooooooo that's at least one happy customer that has had no issues with stuff going "in"

Who can predict what will happen by the 14th, no one.  At this stage the only airport effected is Don Mueang, the main international still open and operating.  With this in mind these are the worst floods seen in the country for over 50 years and the water coming from the north has to reach the Gulf of Thailand somehow, and unfortunately Bangkok stands right in it's direct path.  It is already severley effecting the northern areas of Bangkok with massive evacuations and latest news indicates in may still effect the central districts.  I would suggest you keep in contact with the doctors for any sudden changes until things improve.

For long hauls in planes right after surgery just keep your dilator inside your neovangina while flying. use strong underwear to hold it in and you will be fine.

Only the 2nd airport of Bangkok has been effected.. Suvarnabhumi is still in use and as far as i'm aware Chonburi has not been troubled by the flooding.

and stupid as well...never dilate on a plane. The long flight will bloat your abdomen making insertion  more difficult. Just relax and dilate as many times afterwards until the original depth is restored.

Well i did it while traveling for lesser length trips.. it worked for me and the extra push helped to give me greater depth. I just made sure it was clean.

I actually asked the stewardess if she could block the bathroom for a while while i dilated too. So i don't know who you are but you have no understanding at all. She understood my surgery and need to dialate.

I was just saying that one doesn't have to lose depth as a result of a long flight. You can restore it later and get back to dilation at home. I was even told by my surgeon to NOT dilate on a plane when going back home and it made sense to me.
