ByeBye

face tweezing is a great way to smooth my face but i know for hair not to grow back on my face, my testosterone level has to drop while my estrogen level goes up.

or some of u do laser or electrolyss which is fine and dandy but if your testosterone level is high, then won't you're facial hair grow back anyway?

HRT generally does little (or sometimes nothing) for facial hair, as its not controlled by the same system that governs body hair. The only way to get rid of facial hair permanently is electrolysis, or laser if you're a good candidate.

Sorry, Alyssa.  You got it all backwards.  Tweezing is a temporary fix and HRT is not really a fix at all for facial hair.  Laser and electro are permanent, regardless of your testosterone levels (though laser is only permanent for some hairs).

That said, I'm tweezing right now (finally got it all cleared and am already getting frustrated with maintenance), but only because I can't afford anything else.

From what I've read, tweezing can actually make it harder for your electrolysis technician.

Don't tweeze your facial hair, it can make it grow back at weird angles and that makes it a lot harder to remove with electrolysis.

That is exactly what I read. Also, waxing and laser can make electrolysis hard too.

I get why waxing would be detrimental, but why laser?  That sounds like a ploy to keep people from taking a cheaper route (though you still have to do some electro regardless to get completely permanently clear).
