Hi all, just introducing myself. I'm a transguy from southern California. For now, I'm going by Daniel (or Dan, or Danny), but so far, I've only asked my boyfriend to use it. I've been consciously questioning my gender for the past six to seven months, although I have had trans feelings throughout my life. I think the best way I can explain it is like existing within a haze of indescribable and nameless feelings.
Only recently have I been coming to terms with myself. My family and a few close friends know, as well as my manager and a coworker, and I have yet to really have a negative reaction. In this, I feel truly lucky. I'm hoping that by becoming an active member here rather than a passive lurker, I will come to a greater understanding of myself, and make a few friends in the process. I've always been a shy person, so I very rarely have ever posted in a forum, and a lot of times, I can't think of anything to say.
