so after you got top surgery, did you feel you got less sensation, how much? or when did it start to come back?

I am going to have top surgery, But somehow nervous for the sensation part,
I really dont want to lose it, so I was wondering to hear about you guys..

I haven't had top surgery, but I did have a breast reduction seven years ago (and how I wish they had reduced them right off...).  The surgeon did warn me about possible loss of sensation and possible loss of ability to breast feed.  Even back then, I knew I didn't want kids.  As for sensation, I really didn't care, I just wanted them smaller (gone).  I do still have sensation in my nipples, but I'm not quite sure if it is erotic sensation.  I'm still a virgin, and I am so disconnected from my breasts that I've never gotten pleasure from them.  My natural reaction when someone gets close is basically to smack that person, in all cases.  I can't speak for anyone else, but if I was told that I would lose ALL nipple sensation as a result of top surgery, I would still do it.

Before you have your surgery, talk to the doctor about what you want. There's a spectrum between wanting it to look as right as possible and wanting it to feel as right as possible. Personally, I aim to keep mine as intact as possible, even if it means the placement or size isn't quite right for a male chest.

Also, I've lost a ton of sensation just from binding, but I don't know how common that is or if it's permanent.

From what I heard, if you go to a doctor that knows what they are doing, you shouldn't have too much of a problem.
There are a few doctors that are pretty renowned for their top surgery results.
Seeing the right doctor, in my opinion, should be more important to trans guys than the cheapest fix in my opinion.
Of course, I think things should be done right, because I'm really detail-oriented analytical person - and I would notice something I didn't like, even if my surgery wasn't a disaster story.

Daniel; well breastfeed is no deal since I neither want kids, in any of that ways..

I do want top surgery with posibilatys to lose sensation since prefern being confortable in dayli life rather than
felling more plesure sexually.
I dont think I would mind losing alittle but to lose it all or almost everything, might make me a bit sad.
I havent really lost sensation in my nippels for binding,
but I have tried when my ex where grapping me over my binding, and I of corse had less sensation than usunally.
its where still nice thought.

I am going to dr kampmann in german as I heard he is somehow pretty experienced compared with the other options I have seen. the last doctor I visited said I might lose alittle sensation but there where also a posibilatys I could keep it all, however he suggested I should make keyhole and I dont know if I am gonna do that or not..
