I once dated a girl for about three months before she introduced me to her parents.
Upon meeting them i noticed that my girlfriend had most of her fathers 'looks' ie;same shape face,lips,nose...
Her sister looked more like her mother. In seeing this I couldn't get the image out of my head of her father when i looked at her.Maybe im shallow, but at the time i wasn't after a male 'looking' female.I couldn't continue the relationship.
My new partner has one thing in common with her father, her nose shape, however the rest is her 'own'..not like either of her parents.

Does this affect anyone else. would it put you off??

I got everything from my dad.
HRT is changing my body into what resembles the females on his side of the family.

My dad's sister looks identical to him, it's pretty uncanny.
My mom always thought she was ugly because she "looked like a man."
But really, my dad looked like a woman/very androgynous guy.

Apparently Jay(boo-thang) got everything from his mom.
I don't really care, hes a cutie.

I think if I had a cisgender sister, I'd be prettier lol.
Implying that she got our mom's traits.

I look just like my dad. Lol I'll make sure not to introduce anybody to him.

I don't think a partner looking like their parents would put me off unless their parents were space aliens or something. Even then, probably not.

My sister is the spitting image of our (her) dad. I look like a paler version of our mom -- my dad I'm not sure about. I'm told I look absolutely nothing like him.

My best friend and his mother could be identical twins in some universe where that works. Really, though, I've always seen it more as his mother looks like him than the other way around. She's kinda bleh, but he is adorable. >.<

I look like my Mom... But have my fathers eyes and nose.

I don't have any brothers or sisters. But this is my cousin. My dad is Iranian, but my cousins all have Italian dads:

That "bitch face" runs in our family...LOL

Short Story - While visiting a family member whom was in ICU, my mom had gone back there to talk with the nurses for awhile. So anyways after she finished talking with them, she joined me in the waiting room. 15 minutes pass..and I go to with my grandmother to speak with the nurses and both of them thought I was my mom.. which was a huge compliment to me.

OT - I'm not sure what to say to you, other then I would never dump someone for looking like their parent.

My partner looks like this:

*edited*

And whether she looked like her mom, dad, uncle, aunt...it's whatever.
We have an amazing connection, and I wouldn't allow such a small detail mess that up.
On top of that she's gorgeous. It's gonna take MUCH more for me to end it.

It doesn't matter to me what my spouse's parents look like; I fell in love with her, not her parents. But then, I'm self-avowed bisexual and she is bi-gendered, so I may not be the best person to ask on this subject.   ;D
Call me Dana. Call me Cait. Call me Kat. Just don't call me late for dinner.
