Whats the difference?

I think one is made from tomatoes. If thats the case can anyone give me a good recipe?
Something like sitting the tomatoes in salt water or something for twelve hours to break them down..and adding apples or something...help please.I've got a twenty kilos of tomatoes to make up.any Granny recipes welcome
