Make-Up Tutorial?

Does anyone of you guys know a GOOD make-up tutorial for COMPLETE newbies? Like I never really did something with make-up so a site/video w/e would really help me out with this whole stuff

Youtube! I have found several good ones on you tube for many different styles. ( Thanks Joey) I personally like to look up "how to" put on mascera, eyeshadow, etc etc..  first! Then just played around with it to see what I can do. It's not easy and will take practice, also finding the right shades for you is not easy.

First thing I would remember when starting out is LESS is MORE. I know when I first started playing with makeup it was super easy to go overboard (because hey, it's fun). But all you need is maybe some brown eyeliner, subtle lipgloss, foundation, blush and mascara and you are good to go!

It is strange - every time I go for a makeover or request to sample eyebrow at makeup stores, they end up giving me smoky eyes. It looks sort of heavy, but they say it looks natural on me because I have almond-shaped eyes, being Asian.

getting the right shade is important, mine is a 525 CG simply power and 730 CG smoothers, it's trial and error at least for me, but is gives a nice smooth look and looks natural enough to work in.

I think foundation is only necessary if you are going for a really polished look, or if you are like me and have oily skin/blemishes. You may be fine without it. But for foundation recommendations, I would say go to Sephora and get their brand name foundation. They can put on a sample for you in the store and tell you the best shade (it sounds like you are going too light) and it costs about 20 bucks a bottle. It's pricey but that stuff lasts me a year and is really nice.

As for other things, I would suggest lining the TOP of your eyelid rather than the bottom, because this opens up your eyes and makes them look bigger whereas below the eye makes them look more squinted/smaller. Try to get the line as close to the lash line as possible. It takes practice but looks really nice. I think liquid eyeliner looks the best, but it also can be messy if you are a beginner, so maybe just use a pencil eyeliner.

For lips, don't overdo the color. Maybe just a clear gloss or a pinky shade. This also depends on your skin tone, but I have fair skin and usually like how pinky/orangey tones look on me (but I also have a reddish skin tone). If you have a more yellowish skin tone go for browns/neutrals or clear lips.
