Eh, it can't hurt to ask. Any support groups around northern NJ?

I live in northern New Jersey in Passaic County and was wondering if anyone knew of any support groups in the area. I can't seem to find anything online, but maybe I'm just not looking hard enough. Anyway I figured it couldn't hurt to ask on here. Does anyone know of any support groups around my area?

There is or was one that meets in Hackensack. I think they used to be with Tri-Ess but spun off a couple of years ago I saw. I never had any luck with them responding to my emails the couple of times I tried. That was years ago. Also look in Rockland County NY which isn't that far either. One of my groups members was a founding member of a group there. Of course in NYC and LI.  You might have to shop around to find one you like.

I never been to any the 50 years I was in NJ. Now living out in the boonies for work I had to search far and wide for any sort of TG support. You get pretty creative with your searches after a few months! lol I drive 90 miles each way to get my group meeting. Kind of ironic after living within 15 minutes from NYC all my life, with all the resources available there and NNJ.

I suspect you aren't trying hard enough. Broaden the search and look for links to other groups. Also try searching Yahoo groups and FB.
