So I made a post which was soon followed by a notice that I had posted "offensive material" and should stop or further action would be taken. I looked at the post and and an adjective had been edited out.

What exactly are the rules regarding profanity?

And if it is a violation then what is the purpose of this?:

I thought there was an option to view/hide it somewhere in Settings so that the people who don't want to see it don't have to. I've seen many posts containing it so I was unaware this was a violation...
The rules are simple. You obey Susan's rules. It is her site, she pays for it, it is not yours. Susan has laid down her rules. It does not matter what a particular Mod thinks, if you break her rules, then you break her rules . That is a full stop.   The rules are in the  Announcements, TOS and R to live by. Read them. We post people to do so. Susan does not like profanity  TS #11. Neither do I. Many woman do not like the F word or the C word, if you feel using those words makes you feel manly then I think you need to define yourself in  civil way

Gifted, its time to move on to another topic.  I provided a link to the rules and included Rule 11.

I think you understand we don't like profanity here and all the argueing in the world won't change that.  Accept that your post was edited, it isn't that big of a deal.

If you have any other questions, please PM me, Forum Admin or Susan.
