How important are looks to you?

Oh and I have a huge vanity problem that I'm trying to work on toning down.

But I don't care how my friends look, it's their personality and if they can make me laugh, really.
Or other things, being a good listener/talker, fun to be around, and other stuff like that.

I would like a mate who is attactive to me but ugly to other people.  I don't want a mate who everyone thinks that they are attractive.  I'm not the best looking person so if I had a person who was hot I don't want to question myself how in the world did I get them?
