I Repeat: Trans Don't Mean Punk

http://transgriot.blogspot.com/2011/12/i-repeat-trans-dont-mean-punk.html

How many times have I warned you cispeople not to frack with transpeople?   It's not a good idea to get someone pissed off at you who not only has a little more strength than the average cis female, but is an estrogen based lifeform to boot.

You also don't know how much bull feces that transperson may have gone through just trying to get through her day.

Damnit I wanna watch the video.

Me too! You Tube unfortunately has removed it per their policy on violence (remember when kids would post "fight" videos at school on You Tube).

I'm trying to disapprove but I just don't. People shouldn't think they can get away with insulting someone for no reason, that just sickens me.

No, not the right thing to do...but not everyone does the right thing...on both sides.

I understand how delicate this issue is, and how hard it is to talk about with the proper amount of tact and diplomacy, and I know we all need to take the high road...but holy hell. I am so proud of this woman. I don't want to know anything that might make me less so. I'm biased and reactive, yes, but stronger and happier for the thought that somebody was able to do more than just steel themselves and take it.

Sad Girl

DAMN! I missed the video, it has now been removed by YouTube. If just I could have strength and guts like that blond sister, I'd smash off the faces of everyone on the streets in my country.  >:-) I just feared public-persecution that a mob of people gang against me cos in my country they ALL hate trans to death. And I have suffered in silence for SO LONG till now I am finally peacefully living in Europe with angel people of Spain, not with animals like there was in my country.

Europeans and Americans are so lucky cos what you face in public is NOTHING of what I use to face in conservative and retard countries as where I was before I was granted Asylum. There should be an OFFICIAL laws that prohibits public slurs towards trans like there is here in Spain.

Me I'm fed up of the 'straight extremists' and no time to pity them anymore, I go for 'A TOOTH FOR A TOOTH' now!   >:-)

There should be laws protecting all people from harassment for living as their conscience dictates. That includes their appearance.

It seems sad and frankly illogical, that our lawmakers opt for a piecemeal approach, offering defence to one group at a time. No-one should have to live in fear.

Hard to believe youtube have deleted it, there's loads of fight stuff on youtube, why should this clip be deleted. Maybe they're doing it for the sake of the guy being attacked, I'd imagine his ego took more of a bashing than he did. It wouldn't be a good thing for a "guy" to get beaten up by anyone in heels and make up. High5 to the transgender attacker  ;D

Video of transwoman defending her honor removed as "shocking, disgusting"

I am not a lover of violence.  Although I will watch television programs like Bones and CSI which often show the results of violence, I go out of my way to avoid it and have been vocal in trying to stop it.

But when I saw a youtube yesterday of a rude bigot getting his comeuppance at the hands of a transwoman in the New York subway I found myself agreeing with Monica Roberts of TransGriot.

That video's awesome! i found it edgy and scary but it was for the best that she took that little ->-bleeped-<-s dignity away.

so there is an advantage to being full grown before starting HRT.  :)

That's what he gets! Yeah! Maybe others will think twice now, before insulting.

That was nothing she just threw him around like a ragdoll, lolz

She clearly humiliated the silly boy though.

The downside is now that the woman's face has appeared, she might be positively identified leading to some multi trillion dollar lawsuit or other.

Quote from: Felix on December 29, 2011, 06:43:02 AMI know we all need to take the high road.
I actually don't... Why do we have to take the moral high ground? don't know about you but I never claimed to be a hero or a martyr hell I've given up even trying to be a nice person why should I or any of us allow injustice after injustice to be wrought upon us for things beyond our control?

Wheather we antagonise bigots like that man or not they still hate us... doing nothing like were told to won't change anything because his hateful opinion is considered as valid as a rational one, if enough pepole agree with you Spite and Malice become the law and thus the notion of justice.

So given the state of affairs why shouldn't we take what's rightfully ours and feel anger and hate that was given to us by those who tormented us?
