Thanks for the comments, Joey. :) Unfortunately, it's really hard for me to gain weight.  It seems I've been given one of my uncle's genes, who happens to be tall and thin just like me.

Better?

Better because your hair is in front of your ears :)
Tucking hair behind the ears is a no-no o:

Why is that?
Right now my hair length is at that annoying stage where you almost certainly end up with a mouth full of it.  On a windy day or while eating if you are not careful.

I'm not sure, it just bothers me.
It's something a little girl would do to move her hair out of her face.

It doesnt look right on someone whos not that age.

It doesnt make you less passable. But you look much much much better with your hair framing your face.

I see.  I can appreciate that. Sort of like doing pigtails after 30.  And I guess it does hide my sticky-out ear. I'll do that then. Thanks JoeyD! ^_^

Wait, you think I'm passable? o.O

is this a better angel?

I understand you want to keep the goth look, and I think you can...partly. The problem with the goth look is that it is very hard and aggressive. On a girl who is very soft to begin with, this isn't a problem. She may look more masculine in the process, but not like a guy. Most trans girls don't have that luxury. On top of that, you have sharp, angular features. You want to soften those to look more typically feminine.

So, what can you do? Well, what I would suggest, is to start with a base, and then goth it up from there. The trick is to blend in with other girls your age and class, but then add in personal touches.

I was actually playing around with a edgy look, tonight. Now, if you learn anything from make up, learn this: Focus on either the eyes, the lips, or the cheeks, but  only one. If you do an intense smokey eye, pair it with a toned down blush or bronzer, and nude lips, or something that is very close to your natural lip color. If you focus on the lips and do something intense with them, then use neutral shades on your lids, with liner on the top lid and mascara. KISS.

Another thing I wanted to bring up, was posture and angle. In both of your pics, you were either aggressively leaning forward, or had the camera at an angle that maximized your more angular features. IF you notice with mine, I was trying to look edgy, but relaxed, too. It may sound lame, but it wouldn't hurt to look through fashion magazines to see how models do it. Emulate them, learn from them. You don't have to pose like a model in real life, but having an understanding of what they do, will help with pics. Obviously for real life, emulate the posture of girls your age and class.

And really do what the others suggested. I just wanted to add some things. Remember, this is going to take WERQ.

Just took this pic: Bad lighting, no make-up and 5 'o clock shadow: a pure untainted image of my current status. Still waiting for hrt.
Slowly I see some progression but I fear ffs is an absolute must for me to pass.

Definitely FFS.
Poor thing, you.

Just joking.
I don't even see what hormones would do to your face.
You look feminine enough.
Yeah, I'm sure someone is going to point out your forehead, but it's proportionate with your face.
I feel bad for the poor saps with surgically lowered hairlines where it's not even a "four-head" anymore.
And they go on and say "I HAVE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FOREHEAD EVER NOW"

Oops there I go ranting again.
But thats because I couldnt find anything to tell you.
I like that coat.
I think you should fill your eyebrows in.
There's plenty of good tutorials on how to do so on Youtube.

Growing your hair out? Good, I think you would look good with medium length hair.

The good news is that you are going to be just fine. You look very androgynous at this point. I would just spend the time learning make up, fixing up those eyebrows a bit, and continue to grow the hair. I agree with JoeyD that your forehead is fine for your face, but with the right styling, I think your hair can, and will, frame your face nicely. Go to a stylist for that. And get your eyebrows down by a professional, too. It's like 10 bucks. Srsly.

So...ya. Not much to say at this point, you are just going to have to stay in limbo for a bit longer. But when you finally get out of it...WOWZA.

I see potential. But you should honestly consider wearing makeup. Even a simple foundation and something to play up your eyes.

You're feminine, but not feminine to get away with how you look now. make sense? Good.

You mean people who don't see transsexual women through rose colored glasses? I turn on my gay male side while on this board. You know the kind that says, "Oh hun that hair WILL NEVER work with your bone structure" or "I didn't know there was a transgender woman in Metallica...cuz you look like Lars Ulrich minus the beard"

The way your eyes look and everything looks quite male. If you practice a little bit you could probably use the serious face and just change up a few things about your expression and you'd look a lot more convincing.

Right now I am about to head off to work. But I snapped a picture or two with my hat off. since people want to see that. I think I need a better hairstyle though but right now I just want to grow it out. Sorry it's me in uniform. ^_^
