Just Kate

We may never know because it is too politically charged of a topic.  If someone finds a biological cause there will be those who are afraid of a biological cure.  If someone finds a psychological cause, there will be those who are afraid of a psychological cure.  We like to think there is nothing wrong with us, a convenient belief, but it will be challenged if we find out the cause.
Ill no longer be defined by my condition. From now on, I'm just, Kate.

As a possible DES son, I tend to agree.  Transsexualism and the other problems suspected with mom on DES while pregnant with you may not be fully known until we are all dead.  This is almost always the case when there is a timebomb effect in the medical field.
