Ok, first of all traction alopecia is well documented in women and men when eyebrows have been tweezed over time. But IDK, maybe they braided those too huh? I guess that unibrow I used to have was put in a pony tail, and no I didn't use any products to keep them hidden over a long period of time. I'm not suggesting, btw, that people tweeze every strand of facial hair initially and completely skip the hair removal process altogether. However many people use laser / electrolysis to reduce a large portion of the area they wish to control and then tweeze. But maybe that just sounds way too uncommonsensicle for anybody to comprehend and my not so well informed people would never grasp that.

And yes, I think I'll try something on the internet and QVC that are FDA approved for permanent hair removal and have positive reviews plastered in very large quantities with very few people having unsuccessful stories. Oh, but the satisfied speak the loudest, don't they? ....

Your sarcasm is excused. Apologies for mine.

Electrolysis.

As Jenn says, Electrolysis.
Better to stop wishful thinking. Also Laser now in any case has to say: "Permanent Hair Reduction"

I have had at least 7 laser full-facial sessions and about 200+ hours electrolysis to date. It looks like there is some light at the end of this tunnel --- about only now though.

Hair removal depends on your hair pigmentation, but also depends on other numerous factors like:
- Type of laser being used
- The setting of the machine
- Expertise of the technician
- Your Hormones

Personally, I went to a laser hair removal boutique that used an Alexandrite laser. I specifically requested over their Nd: Yag laser. I have dark hairs and light skin so after around 6 sessions, I had full clearing of facial hair. The technician knew the limits of the laser on my skin and always went to the maximum setting without harming my skin. I always took Advil to reduce the inflammation before heading into the sessions.

Even though I had full clearing, I stopped hormones for a while and the beard growth returned after a few months. I still have permanent reduction of hair. The hair is less thick. I used to have a full beard hair, but now it's limited to around my upper lip, jaw, and chin rather than the whole face.

Hope this helps...

Xoxo
