I have been having anxiety dreams about accidentally outing myself to my family.  They have happened almost every night since I moved back in with my parents (about 4 months ago), and it's driving me nuts.  I wake up terrified until I figure out that it's just a dream.

It's not even that they react badly in my dreams; just the thought of having that conversation with them makes me freeze up.  On the plus side, my subconscious has come up with just about every situation possible, so here's hoping I can prevent them from happening.
Oh I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love

I have more than once dreamed about being stealth and having to pee really bad and going to the bathroom only to find urinals, no stalls (I don't STP). I've also dreamed about getting close to someone I find sexy or even love, and then having my body shape ruin everything. I've dreamed about being found out and hunted, and having to run and hide.

I think dreams are just manifestations of the same stuff your brain does during the day, but more abstract, more explicit (if that's not oxymoronic), simplified, and squished into bizarre narrative form.

The last dream I remember was eleven kinds of stupid. It was me painstakingly explaining to a lover how I bind, and how I get my pants and shirt just right so nothing comes loose. Most boring dream ever, and slightly dysphoria-inducing upon waking to boot.

Being out to your family is something you worry about, and that's not going to go away just because you fall asleep.
