In Williamsburg, the fleet may do more than just ease the burden on local streets and provide residents with a lift every now and then. It might just prevent crime.
Zipcar has agreed to let RightRides, an organization that provides women, transgender and gender queer individuals a ride free, safe ride home to reduce their risk of sexual assault, use their fleet of cars from 11:59 p.m. to 3 a.m. every Sunday morning.
