Well swan, according to what you explain, I had non-inversion done also on 20. Sept 2011 at PIH with Dr. Sanguan.
The following protocol has been used by Dr. Sanguan for quite some time (~ 3years?) and undergone some minor mods and improvements.
As for the 3 operations...
1. The BIG ONE, he used penile skin for labial minora and as you say for the vaginal entrance as far as it will go down into vj channel. This op is about 7 - 8 hours (longest 9hrs so far). I was in op-room 10am and came to 7:30pm the evening. Hardly any pain to mention.
2. ... "op" is hardly that. It is ~ 20min, yet using general anaesthetic. It is to remove 3 - 4 day old vaginal packing and replace it.
He is then checking if during creating vaginal opening into pelvic area, no blood vessels have had any damage, will cauterise if needed and you are done till op 3.
This is a quickie, followed by no pain what so ever.
3. "Wall papering" --- this is when he inserts and 'connects' all saved scrotal skin after ALL! hair follicles have been removed painstakingly. I could watch that process some whist waiting to be put under...
This op is about 2 hour in duration.
The only one op I came to with strong pain – I guess, due to some nurse having fumbled with replacing my catheter. The pain was in the clit/labia minora/urethra area not at all in vj channel which had been lined.
I hope this will help to create some more insight and perspective.
Hug,
Axélle
