Hey Nathan
I didn't know about the bad reviews. I'm surprised about it. I'm really dysphoric about my downstairs. So anything that requires me to be looking at it while trying to line up spoons and tubing in the right hole isn't going to help me. The other STP packers all have contraptions or something that I thought would be uncomfortable for packing.
Naked with no harness, I find it very easy to use.
Dressed with harness that is too small, about 2 months. The only issues since are because of the harness being too small.
With the right size harness, I think it might have only been a couple of weeks. But I can only guess.
I'm looking forward to getting the right size.
It's now 6 months and I'm really good at it and will use it all day at home while no-one is around.
I had the house to myself to practice as I needed. I was drinking HEAPS of tea just so I could pee

I also work from home so had all day every day. Add school or work hours in and the learning time would have to be longer I guess.
The biggest learning curve is controlling the flow. Too hard and it overflows. That's not too hard to get used to either.
Something else that I will mention is that standing up to pee, it's a little different to emtpy the bladder. I found that when I first started using it, I would pee, walk away and 30 seconds later some pee would dribble out. GRRR (it's probably old age haha). So now I do my pee and then push the last bit out. That works.
