I wrote about this not to long ago, asking if people knew whether or not in Canada, one could change their sex solely based on a hysterectomy. I just got the forms mailed to me, and found in Ontario, Canada;
"The Vital Statistics Act does not have a definition of "transsexual surgery" and the Registrar General relies on medical practitioners to exercise their own medical judgment in accordance with their own experience, expertise and contact with the applicant to determine whether "transsexual surgery" has been preformed and whether as a result of such surgery the sex designation on the birth registration should be changed."
In other words guys in at least, Ontario Canada, you only need one surgery now! It only gives you enough room to state one surgery anyway... but this I guess means hysterectomies are no longer 'necessary' in Ontario Canada to change ones sex. I'm not sure about the whole countries rule on this sort of thing. Basically as long as my surgeon (who is an amazing and trans friendly OB/GYN - who know's I'm going for top surgery in Florida just need the money), and my family doctor (who I've been out to for almost 4 years) agree to sign it, I can change it.
Hell yeah Canada, you're doing something right.
