Your eyebrows are vary light compared to your hair. Maybe you could bleach your hair and dye it brown or you could dye the eyebrows with eye-liner or something more permanent. If you dye them, then please don't do it with hair colour.

No, I would dye them with hair colour. Semi permanent in case you regret. I know a few guy that dyes their brows, because they are so light. And trust me, it looks way better than drawing them on. Or use browshadow/matte eyeshadow.

I didn't say that he shouldn't dye them. I have just heard that it's a bad idea to dye them with hair colour. I have actually been painting my eyebrows with eye liner and it looked fine. To be it sounds like you think that I painted on my skin. I did not. I painted my eyebrows. I'm not sure where you got that from.

Jumping in here.

My profile picture is my most recent photo.

No T, no nothing. I don't pass below the neck, but I am more concerned about the face.

I won't pass bodywise until I get top surgery. I am a 34G in bra size :'(. The huge hips that gave birth twice don't help... :-\

So...facewise, scale of 1-10, how passable am I?

Edit: I ask because I may not be able to ever get HRT. I have a disability that efdects my joints and bones and the increased risk of osteoporosis may bar me from taking testosterone.

@Adrian_Micheal = On a scale of 1-10, I'd go a solid 5. You seem pretty androgynous. I'm not sure why, it could be the eyes. Or just the lack of width in your jaw. Sucks about your Joint condition bro. I hope that you can get it.

I'm still pre-T and I have been experimenting with mascara for sideburns, and I would like to see what y'all have to say:

also, I'm wondering if my smile passes. I'm a fairly open gay guy so I suppose there is some leeway, but I feel like it makes me look overly feminine.

I love the daft punk shirt. :)

I do think the glasses look feminine though.

Thanks for the input. I think I should share another angle, I actually have an rather square jaw from the front, but I have obnoxiously high cheek bones offsetting it from the sides.

My eyes are the bane of my existence. Large, protrusive, and uncomfortably feminine. My only saving grace? Years of poor sleeping creating deep shadows and a sunken appearance.

6.5.  You read, in the picture, as androgynous leaning male and I'd peg you for male if I saw you sitting down (standing up might be different, but who knows).

@ Lilringo:

You pass definitely to me though I say leave off the sideburns, but I'm not a sideburns kind of guy.   :p I like my guys without them, lol.  Your smile passes as well and I'm jealous that you can pass so well. :3  It's awesome and I say keep doing whatever it is you're doing. :)

[Your glasses look fine to me.  They just speak of a nerdy kind of guy to me. ;) ]

Here's a few extra pics, from other angles:

Same photo shoot, profile view:

Right after I got my first "boy" haircut(and before I came out to anyone but my good friend, so the earrings were still there):

Top picture is a definite pass to me.  The second one isn't a real pass though I can "see" male if that at all makes sense.  It's in the expression, particularly around your eyes.   It also helps that you have a strong jaw. :)  [By the way, I <3 your necklace.]

Have you tried, instead of mascara, maybe an eyeliner pencil for the sideburns? It doesn't quite blend like I've seen sideburns blend.

Other than that, I'd give you about a 7, Much better than me, but the glasses and the smile in the last picture gives you away.

Joe.

I'm pre everything, and I'm aware that I still look very feminine. From my avatar how much would I be able to get away with passing if I wanted to? Nobody has ever seen me like this before and I'm hoping to get a more boyish hair cut next week. (my hair is tucked in the hat on my avatar) long story short, how much do I look like a guy?
Joey :)

Hey Joey, good to hear from ya. You got the round baby face and non distinct jaw line so your naturally going to look younger. Your eyebrows are also fairly thin and shaped, so you might wanna try filling them in a bit to help you look more masculine until they grow out. Don't cut your hair too short because it's going to accentuate your feminine facial features. If I were you, I'd get a cut a bit shaggy, but not too long. Your young so you may get sir-ed in some situations, but on most occasions you will not pass. No worries though. You don't have any majorly defining feminine features that T won't straighten out for ya. G'luck bro.

Thanks guys, didn't know there was a thread like that. I just see pictures and thought "hey I'll put mine up as well", lol. I'll look for it.

I guess the second didn't pass because the lady styled my hair all femmy like, plus the earrings and the chain on the necklace.

Speaking of, thank you. I have had it for years, and have gone through many chains. Now it is on that leather slider in the first picture. Which I fastened from a dress shoe lace.

I cannot wait to get more than just the Italian female standard peach fuzz moustache...lmao. But at least I have some upper lip hair!

Hey, If I shave it, will it come in darker? Worked on my arms ages back...lol  :P

First thing I thought? You remind me of "The Karate Kid"...the bad ass original Daniel San...not Will Smith's kid (obviously).

LOL, I'm a total 80's geek. I've been watching "Gremlins" tonight. Nahh, don't fear the 80's hair. As long as you're not getting the "boy George" style I'm sure it'll be all good, lol. I actually like Johnny's (the bad kid) hair in "The Karate Kid". Not exactly sure what that cut is called (no way I could pull it off) but it's a nice cut.

I actually think the hair is pretty feminine... It could just be cultural differences here in England or because the only person I've ever seen with hair styled like that was a lesbian teacher of mine.
