Thanks those who have responded. I think this probably means I can write off my facial features as the cause of not passing. I've shown a few members videos of me through PM and they feel I pass visually as well, so there must be something else going on that I can't pinpoint. Because while my voice is still fairly high, I do get misgendered on sight.

Your face is fine. Have you had top surgery? If not, how well is your binder working? Hips/bum not redustributed yet? Whatever it is, I wouldn't worry. The voice, face, fat pattern, chest - whatever the problem is will be fixed with time.

I haven't. My binder works fairly well - I have that "unimoob" thing going on but it's not super visible in the shirts I wear. I've been considering what you said in the other thread about how even though my fat distribution is fairly male, people might be going off the "lesbian" stereotype.

I may post a video and/or body pic in the near future. I'm really curious now, because I always assumed it was my face.

Well, you can try showing us, but I doubt it's going to be anything we can pinpoint. I don't think anyone would have been able to pinpoint why I wasn't passing back in the day either. One day you look androgynous, and the next you're getting sirred everywhere. You won't know why or what changed. At least I didn't anyhow.

I wonder if your being a teacher is making people take you for older, and thus female because you can't pass for whatever age they're thinking. I don't remember if I asked, are you able to grow some decent facial hair?

Anyway can't hurt to post a video or more pics. Might generate some good tips.
I think you're almost there and it just hasn't 'clicked' or whatever for people yet.

No facial hair at all, except a small creepy stache, lol. As for the age thing, that's certainly the problem at university. Pretty much all the guys at university, even the first years, have noticeable facial hair and stuff. And while there are short men, most of the guys my height (5'4") aren't white.

As for everywhere else though...I don't see a reason why they'd expect an older age.

Ajayo, definite pass bro!! I really like your hair, I wish I could get lined up like that, it would really help because you can choose what you want your hairline to look like. Yours is very masculine. Are you on T or anything? I know you didn't ask but I think you look about 16/17, which is actually a pretty good thing.

Not so much a "Do I pass" as a "Guess my age". Forgive the lack of color. XD

Went and got me a ticker, so everytime I post I'm reminded to put down whatever I was about to eat. >.>

Ajayjo, I think you look great, and I would've guessed about 20 or so.

John, I'd guess between 26-30.

Caleb, unfortunately I think the combination of height, voice, facial hair, and perceived age is probably leading to most of your misgendering. Even outside of the university, I would imagine you're dressing more like an adult than a young teen (which to me is closer to the age you're passing at) -- likely leading people to assume female.  I think I remember you saying in another thread about wanting to lose some weight - on that, I think lowering your body fat and developing some visible upper body muscle would help give more angle to your face and broaden your shoulders - both of which would help with passing.

Tyler, you pass! Watched a few of your youtube videos. You're doing great.

So I got a new hair cut.

I think it looks more masculine, and it's the shortest I've ever had it. Feeling pretty confident. Anymore tips on passing? I know I don't pass yet and I'm pre-everything.

Wow joey, you look pretty great. I'd say that once you get a proper binder you'll be passing well.

Just took some pictures with my brothers. Any thoughts? Also, do I look younger than both of them?
And the obvious question is: would you read me as male?
