Do I pass? My hair still isn't cut short, but it will be in about 3 weeks. I'm also looking at names and I really like Benjamin/Ben. But my given name is Sasha, and that's pretty gender neutral. What do you guys think? I'm 18, if anyone needs the reference.

jossef, you look great man i would never misgender you if i saw you on the street, you look young though (not sure your real age) around 15-17. LilRingo in my own opinion i'm not sure you pass yet, 1st picture is a no pass from me. The second has the potential. It could be your round face and the eyes. you also look really really young like around 12 or 13. I'm not sure how you could make it a pass, without hardening your features with T lol also i think Ben would suit you better than Sasha but its your decision But, i think that if your trying hard to pass, people will think your female with the name Sasha.

@LilRingo, for me its a little iffy...you have a bit of a baby face (sorry) so its hard to tell...maybe as a very young man like 13-14 but its still a little on the questionable side...i'd probably have to know you to know for sure but in the pics its just hard to tell, sorry (I know thats not what you want to hear as for the name, i like the Benjamin, its sounds great

LilRingo, to me you actually pass better in the first picture as apposed to the second. It could possibly have something to do with the more "masculine" facial expression you've got going on in that one. The second picture is very iffy, it could go either way but if as a male I'd say very young, around 13. I'm not sure how you would pass in person, it would really depend on your mannerisms and voice.

LilRingo - I'd say that you passed for a very young guy, slightly better in the second photo than the first, but definitely nowhere near your real age, sorry.  I think Ben suits you really well though.

This is actor Sasha Mitchell. Very good-looking guy. I do have to admit though, it threw me when I heard his name. That was my education that Sasha could be a guy's name. It still sounds feminine to me.



Jensen (from Supernatural TV show) is another guy's name that sounds a bit like a lady's name to me but for some reason has settled in for me as a guy's name. Here he is looking pretty badass so that it won't be completely off topic.

Michael Joseph - you definitely pass as male to me, I'd pin you at 16-18. From the vid it seemed to me that you speak with some hesitance, which seems to be more common among younger guys. I'm thinking it might be because your voice hasn't lowered to the male range -- to me now it sounds more andro, leaning towards the masculine end of the female range. That along with the young face and no visible facial hair would put you in the teenage range for me.

To me, you definitely pass.
Your jaw looks unusually small, but I don't know if that's just how it is normally. I only pointed out because sometimes people experience water retention in their face while being within the first six months to a year on testosterone. Anyway, you still pass regardless.

yeah :/ its mostly the angle i guess in there, I'm uploading a recent voice clip to youtube (with video) - but thats gonna take a while - I'm still losing lots of weight so my jaw looks silly for the moment ^_^
