Apples Mk.II

- Keep "working"on the  templates

- Explain that when a printer says RIP it means "Routing Information Protocol", not "Rest In Peace", and she is alive and well.

- Survive my first laser sesion.

- Delve deeper in my mind with my therapist.

Now you tell me! My HP Printer was less than a year old when I ripped it away from my computer and slammed it into the trash can outside. It is RIP in a landfill somewhere. I am horribly tech challenged and find out after the fact that I probably didn't have the correct drivers to interface with my computer and that it was still under warranty when I trashed it. Oh well ~ sigh!

Spent an inordinate and infuriating amount of time faffing around with my anti-virus software which suddenly decided to stage a protest and refuse to download updates.

After much clicking, downloading, scanning and other general merriment, the issue seems to have been resolved. It might have been helpful to learn that a recent update is the likely cause of connectivity issues rather than spend four hours scanning almost half a million files for a malicious entity which did not exist.

Technical support - you suck. Royally. And with gusto.

The end.

The end.

Woah you have the patience of a saint, my laptop would have been lobbed through a window several times by the 4 hour stage.

Today I looked after my sick friend, played far too many video games and watched star trek voyager which I'm new to. Think I might get the first season....I also thought a bit about college and surgery and watched a bit of big bang theory.

Backed up my computer (or rather I am in the process of backing up my computer) so that I can do a clean install since I'm convinced that I have some kind of virus on it

I mistook north for south and almost missed a meeting at a place I've been to a zillion times. I witnessed a fight between two smelly homeless people at the library, and not ten minutes later a fight between a clean and beautiful young hipster couple outside the library. The healthy and clean-smelling people made me sadder to see fighting, because it was so much more obviously a spectacle. The smelly homeless people were fighting over a blanket, which seemed like a sensical thing for them to both want.

I also did a lot of mundane things that would turn my brain to mush if I tried to list them.

Went to College, acted like a dork in both classes. Had a lot of fun, broke up with my current GF or I hope she understands I did. I feel so much relief.

I stared at myself when I had my binder on.  Because it was fun and it flattened me out.  My body looks good when it's all kept in. XD

Today I costumed eight people for a film premier.  We only had nine days to make all the clothes too!  I'm, so proud of my team right now, they did incredible work in a super short amount of time.  Everyone looked great and we had a super fun time doing it  :D

I don't have a separate bedroom (I sleep in the living room) so today I hung out in the bathroom for awhile just so I could be topless without an audience. I was really happy to see that my body shape is starting to be apparent despite the boobs, as my muscles figure themselves out and my boobs get smaller. Then when I put the binder back on it was a struggle but it made me all visibly flexy and I felt like the Hulk. ;D

I've been sitting outside on the computer a lot because I've noticed I cry and worry a lot less when I talk to people and look at funny cat pictures. I just got told by a total stranger that I shouldn't sit outside on the computer so much, but I intend to go home when the battery gets to zero and only stay home long enough to charge it. I'm not hurting anybody or shooting heroin or anything and I don't see why I should apologize for being a couch potato. A park bench potato.

To quote Galaxy Quest: "At least he's outside..." :)

Strangers telling you how to behave is just weird. I was in Paris once wearing big gypsy hoop earrings, and a French dude came up to me out of nowhere and started talking to me very, very fast - but the gist of it I got was that he was telling me if I went to the wrong parts of Paris, bad people would run up to me and rip out my earrings for fun.

I told my friend about this when I got back, and she just laughed and said "Parisians give each other unwanted advice all the time - but he was probably trying to pick you up!"

They can be awfully cheeky posting topless photos of Kate! We Americans are quite taken with the royal couple.
