I notice you have Astronomer under your name. I had a grade 8 teacher introduce our class to Astronomy & I have been hooked ever since. Totally love the space programs that have landed mankind on the moon, robotic discoveries and the awesome pictures from Hubble Space Telescope.   Thanks, Jaimep.  It was John Glenn's Mercury spaceflight flight that got me interested in science.  I am an active member in my club, I do some of the minor planet confirmations and I do image objects in the sky.

I noticed that commonality, female variation of my given name. Perhaps that is what a lot of us do, makes it easy choosing a username. Have to get an extension in there to separate us. I will be glad when I can get an avatar pic up and see the difference between all the Jamie's when we sign off.
