Comments that made you feel masculine.

Have stories of times when someone tells you about something they noticed about you, that brighten your mood because it made you feel more masculine.

Recently I got told that I have broad shoulders. Was bit of a confidence boost for my body being able to pass as male. Also may explain why female shirts tended to be uncomfortable the most around the shoulders.

I injured myself one time after puffing up and feeling like a manly man when I overheard a little kid tell my daughter "Wow, your dad can jump really high!" I was getting berries out of a tree for them, and the kids acted like I was a big strong gorilla, powerful enough to get to and pull down any branch. Lol I pulled a muscle in my shoulder, and I also really tore up my bad ankle with all the jumping.

But it was worth it. I felt amazing.

I had a dream where I was sitting in the kitchen on Christmas morning and this boy came running down the stairs and said "Dad! Dad! Can we open presents now??"
Woke up with the warmest damn feeling inside.

Just a dream. But I was smiling for the rest of the day.

I love going to get my hair cut. I go to the local SUPERCUTS and they ALWAYS read me as male and give me a men's haircut. Call me sir, ask me how I want my sideburns cut... always makes my day.

Been told i've got broader shoulders 

(idk if it falls in the same category but) the staff at my school have been referring me to male pronouns lately (im just a random student, nothing special about me here), even the ones that visit the school, calling me mister and etc

I was told last month by a speech pathologist that I have a very deep masculine voice, and she also said that she found it "relaxing and a pleasant joy to listen to"... is it just me or was her second comment a bit much? I think I grew a foot taller

The girls in my class at college made a comment that they like having a male friend in our little social circle. I have always wanted to be the male friend. Never been one for segregating my friend circles according to gender!

My mum also commented on how hairy my legs are getting and keeps trying to pull my leg hair out when we sit on the couch together, just to muck around. My girlfriend always brushes her hand up my chin too, and giggles because my face fuzz tickles her fingers.

Also, when people refer to my biceps as my 'guns' and then say that my shoulders are bulky and broad, I get a temporary inflated ego. Hehe

Oooh, also, my friend told me that when she heard me on the phone, she didn't recognize my voice because of how deep it has gotten. That pretty much made my day!

My 2nd grade students have recently taken to calling me "sir", which is weird because I've never discussed any of this with anyone at that school and I present female there (although I don't go out of my way to act feminine).  It makes me feel like I send off a male vibe that little kids can pick up on, but I'm still nervous about the other teachers hearing them say that.

When I was having one of my scans while I was pregnant the midwife told me that birth was going to be difficult for me because I had a very male shaped pelvis.

I ignored the first part was just like YEAAAH MALE PELVIS! SCORE!

Not quite relevant, but today in class my teacher split our (small) seminar group in half for discussion work. After a minute she goes "oh man, I split you into gender groups, sorry, I didn't mean to, that's just the way you all were sitting". I came out to her last week, and today I was sat with the other guys. Made me feel so good.

I rarely feel masculine and often when people point out "masculine" things it's done in a way that bothers me.

A friend of mine took me to a gym not too long ago and told me to stop prancing and doing jazz hands. That made me feel pretty good with my gender.

Years ago, probably when i was 14-15, I had this weird phase in high school where I attracted a lot of (supposedly straight) girls. They'd follow me around, tell me I looked handsome, one even went so far as to call me her "replacement boyfriend" a few times. It was (and still is) really weird, but it was extremely complimentary.

And every comparison I've ever gotten for my singing voice just makes me incredibly happy.

Also, I was recently hanging out at a friend's house and the group sort of split off into the girls and guys. We spent like 40 minutes talking about video games and the girls were like, seriously? Still talking about video games? It was a had to be there thing lol but I felt masculine being with the other guys.

Yes! Same here. When my best female friend tells me to carry the groceries for her (lol), and all that stuff. She's treated me like a guy for years now.
Also, today at work pushing the carts up the ramp into the store, an older lady said to me "You're going to have strong arms, young man".
She recognized the physical intensity of the work, and gendered me correctly

One of the guys that works for me said my nickname should be Bill Belichick because of how well I plan, coordinate, and execute at work.

I can hardly think of a better compliment.

I should note that I haven't come out at work yet.

when I am at work with one of my female coworkers, and they ask me for my opinion on something having to do with style, or color arrangement of the products and I say "I don't know!"

and they reply *sigh* "you are such a guy!" (as in.. you have no idea how to color coordinate)

When I was with my now ex girlfriend she would always treat me as male so all her comments made me feel pretty male from general convo to erotic convo.  Other than that I don't get too many comments that make me feel masculine.  Last week my sister and I were shopping and she asked me to reach for something that was too high for her and I felt so masculine I strolled towards the item and reached up for it and she said nevermind.  That was such a blow to my self-esteem lol.

The latest comment that made me feel very masculine was the one that our very own Miss Catherine Sarah made about perceiving me to be the leader of men one day.  That made me feel all tingly inside in a masculine way.
