I've been online since 2004 and today I discovered something new on the internet - new to me.   I was reading at another forum where another member was denounced as a 'paid blog assassin'.   I thought at the time that this was a rather witty and unusual insult.   However, it turns out that this person actually IS a paid blog assassin, we have all been warned about her by the admin'.   I can't imagine someone paying someone else to 'assassinate' a blog!

This one seems to be rather amateurish as 'she' just seems to insult the members

My money is on a 'blog assassin' being someone who kills their... contracts... through the medium of online journalling. Sapping their life slowly, through the sheer, spirit crushing boredom that emerges through writing about the most uninteresting, utterly pointless and paralyzingly tedious events possible. Such as "Agent X's Blog of Drying Paint."

However, these masters of slow, agonizing death have imprinted their blogs with subliminal brainwashing images which make it literally impossible to look away or close the browser, so their unfortunate victims have no choice but to die word by soul stifling word, trapped forever in an endless, lingering debate over the relative drying speeds of gloss and emulsion, and eventually slipping into the great unknown through the simple act of... forgetting to live anymore.

Or maybe not. I'm in an odd mood today. Don't mind me. :P

Above all... remember: you are beautiful, you are valuable, and you have a shining spark of magnificence within you. Don't let anyone take that from you. Embrace who you are. <3
