So I have been on hormones for almost 2 months now and have definitely developed some boobage.
Before going on hormones, I was at peace with having boobs and wanted them but..
It's just so different to how my body was, and i'm not used to them yet.
Did you ever have these feelings? does it get easier? i had a very flat chest before.
Is there anyway to control their growth? I like the size they are now.
Anyway, it's definitely been making me nervous because it happened quite rapidly.
i shall be mentioning this to my dr but i wanted to know what you all go through.

No, there's really no way to control them.. They will grow to whatever size your genetics tell them to..

Well, it's a package deal, just like it is for a cis woman...

I'm with Peky and Dhamma on this, I can hardly wait for them and hope I take after the women on my mother's side. I got their double chin, the least nature can do is throw some big (but not too big) boobies as compensation :P haha, I think I've earned that much.

I've been on HRT since November 2007 and my boobs are still growing.  I've only recently gotten to Tanner Stage 4, where you get a "mound on a mound".  Technically they are "only" 42 B but that's really a lot of boobage. It's like a cone shaped tit on top of a big round one.  You get what they titty fairy chooses to give you.

One of my early surprises was the sensation I get when I drive over a bump in the road or some railroad tracks and the girls get an extra jiggle.  It's not unpleasant, but it wasn't something I expected.  I've also found that they are just plain heavy, and your back muscles get tired after a while.

I also find that rolling over while sleeping is a bit more difficult.

As to your main question.... Yes, you do get used to them.  After a while it's like they were always there.  I'd really hate to go back to the way things were before.

Hi Torn  :)

Those feelings are perfectly understandable and yes it does get better  :)   I've had some fairly good luck with my development over to past couple of years and I'm still somewhat getting use to them

The main things I've noticed are to adjust my clearance of things such as opening doors and such so I don't whack them  :o  Ouch!!!
They also have a tendency to hit  the keyboard when I lean in for a closer look at the monitor and suddenly the space bar or a certain letter will start going mad across the screen

Whether you view your bra cup as half empty or half full is up to you really  :)  But good results are nothing to cry about imo

Congrats and hugs

V M

P.S. I love it when they jiggle about   That is one of the better surprises

I usually work in receving in retail or warehouses
So I know the feeling wacking them even off hrt atm I have a small b cup from 4 and half years of hrt
I got really fat a few years ago and need to loose weight before I start hrt again

I notice when I got down stairs if I dont wear a bra, but I'm only an A-cup (Le Sigh) :( It's been one year so I hope I'm not entirely small-chested for the rest of my life. B cup would be my ideal I think.

I love my boobies, they're like my favourite part if not the only part of my body that I like. I just wish they'd grow faster! From the moment I started HRT I was like "More boobage please", because having a flat chest sucks and boobies are amazing.

So I can't say I'm familiar with the notion of getting mentally comfortable with them, but I am familiar with the brain having to learn that they're there to help you avoid banging them on things all the time.

I know what you mean there are two aspects to it.
For me their is a subtle surreal nervous sensation, where I needlessly worry myself With me that feeling always hangs on the words/concepts "irreversible" aswell as "They will grow slowly throughout your life" Then I look at my torso when I get into the shower and how it looks nothing like how it once did(and I can't remember what it was like before). It's just an intimidating concept. It mostly went away after 9 months or so but it's still there slightly in the background even now.

The other aspect was a matter of physically getting used to them... where for 3 months after growing them I kept mashing them into things because I wasn't consciously aware of them.

I have been on HRT for nearly a year now and have slightly smaller than an A cup.  They don't seem to have gone through the Tanner stages, just grown steadily.  Has anyone else had this happen.
I like the jiggle as I go down stairs, feels very feminine.  I see them as a package deal along with a waist, bum and hips.  Together they add up to more than just boobs alone.

Even though I liked them, I felt weird and uncomfortable at first when I was still in guy mode. I had to wear a bra and I didn't want people around me to notice. When I went full-time I wanted them to get bigger and show them to the world.

It's amazing how much we seem to value those balls of gland and fat in our society. lol ^_^

This is a humorous thread for me, I have boobs but don't know squat about Tanners or half of what people here talk about although I can sure relate to getting whacked! Back early in my transition I went to the local lumber yard to pick out a new fence post when an 8 foot 4 x 4 fell out of the shoulder height lumber rack and whacked me end first dead on my right breast. I saw a blinding flash of white light, the sudden pain was excruciating. I immediately broke out in a cold sweat and felt like I was going to pass out. I had to sit down with my head down and finally threw up. I think twice about doing a lot of former guy stuff now.

I'll have to find out what it's like to get used to them. Here's hoping I can buy a pair for myself this fall...

I have a question while we are on the subject of boobs..
I have about 2" circumfrance lump under each nipple now,but the lump seemed to have stopped growing now, even though sometimes I think they seem to be gathering fat or getting swollen, anyone know if its normal? Or have they just gave up lol? They are almost a handfull.
started meds just before xmas

my nipples have grown outward and have become slightly wider, not sure about budding completely yet because theyre still pretty soft all about, but they're certainly sore.
i'm not sure if boobs are what i want yet I love how they look when i wear clothes, so it's kind of a paradox. It may not be enough to get me off hormones, seeing as I finally feel normal, content, and happy for the first time ever..
I'm really conflicted.
Will staying on a low dose keep me at this stage?
Currently my levels of e are 54, and my t is 9 which is quite low i hear but i still feel really content.
Anyway.. just venting because i am really conflicted about alot of things.
Not about transition, just with some physical changes. Argh..
Once again, i'll probably talk with my dr soon..

Even though I've been on hrt for 8 years, mine recently starting getting the soreness from growth again

Interesting that you say that because I've been on HRT for 16 years and experienced a sudden surprise burst of additional breast growth just a couple of years ago complete with soreness and the hardness that comes and goes as it did initially. The general consensus has always been that breast growth is complete in three to four years which I think is only applicable to genetic females and is a only a generalization.
