Kaitlyn Bogas is a post-op transgendered woman, formerly known as Ken Bogas, famed Vancouver restauranteur. Kaitlyn shares her story.

The woman with the long blond hair and radiant smile leans forward, her V-neck T-shirt sliding delicately off one shoulder, revealing a bra strap.

She brushes her hair aside and strokes her tanned arm.

It is all muscle, slope and curve — an arm in which four children were held and nurtured, an arm that hefted some of Vancouver's most famous restaurants to spectacular heights, an arm that could cook and manage, sink a lemon into a pail from across the kitchen, wrestle down the competition and hold up half the sky.
