Hmm... if attraction to males is influenced by lower testosterone/higher estrogen levels during a separate developmental stage than when gender identity would be influenced, presumably in our case by elevated testosterone levels, then it wouldn't contradict.

Are firstborn trans guys or trans guys with no older brothers more likely to be attracted to females?

At any rate, we have to remember that both gender identity and sexual orientation are determined by many, many factors, and there is no reason even to guess that a guy is gay just because he has older brothers.
In the womb, there are two separate waves of hormones. I've heard that supposedly FTMs get a wave of testosterone which may influence the brain development, but it happens in a way where it doesn't really influence genitalia growth.
Also, I believe I said on separate forum that this "gay probability" research is probably botched anyway, because there is no real rule that can be reinforced and there's tons of variables that contradict the research. In my opinion, it's about as scientific as drawing marbles from a bag where there's one yellow marble among a bunch of blue ones. It doesn't matter when you get the yellow one, but if you keep drawing, you'll eventually get it. Well, okay...it's slightly more scientific with that since it does deal with genetics, but still.
Meow.

A couple friends of mine and I totally go against this theory.  I am the oldest and a bi ftm, though I generally lean more towards girls. My younger brother is straight. I also have a gay cis male friend and a gay ftm friend who also both have straight younger brothers.
