The main portion of the night's festivities consisted of a friendly competition to see who could give the most exciting drag performance. Student performers were judged on criteria such as believability, how well they created their character and overall performance. The performers strutted with confidence, many even venturing out into the crowd to flirt with audience members.

Performers created flashy stage names to compliment their lavish costumes, including Scarlet Cleopatra and G. Valentino, who wore a suit and tie and sported a well-groomed goatee, dancing to Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing." Mike Hunt and Magna Tummy Stix performed as a duo, dancing and lip-syncing to "Grease's" "You're the One That I Want" amid the singing crowd.
