It's really sad how the conservative voice in America has turned to vulgarity as its foundation for discourse. Then again the liberals do have Al Franken, who can be similarly vulgar when pressed. Yet this does not negate the nature of Savage's remarks. It just points out that maybe the conservatives have lost most of their ability to utilize rhetoric and propaganda in a way to really win people over to their viewpoint, even if it's not to win on one issue. When I read an old moldly writer like William F Buckly Jr, I'm always surprised by his analysis, even though I tend to disagree with it, especially how he's able to divest his emotions from it and to expand the issues in the context of his values. Compare that to Savage or Coulter, who can't do anything by drop the equivelent F-Bombs every other sentence. All in all, the conservatives have lost their head [and probably their heart too].
